TOWER
The fun begins! Finally, I am working on the CT. I am using the Warhammer top thanks to a mate. Unfortunately the reinforcing ribs were damaged in shipping, so I have added some slightly-too-large L-channels, with hand-poked rivets (scribe pushing from other side).
I am making an attack scope base from scratch to correct height and shape. It still needs reinforcing fins, and my boat had two foot rings I’ll make out of brass wire. I am working on an UZO and will use some of the Eduard PE for the compass ring. I have made a p-hull for the tower, as the wood deck rested on top of this and I want to show the space between the deck and the pressure fittings. Tho it won't really be visible, I did put some dials and pipes in the tower in case anyone looks down the hatch, and have given it a metal deck.
Just test-fitting some half-finished bits now, but off and running.
(I have since corrected the UZO handle, it goes to the deck)
