Robby the Robot

I ended up building this twice - a ruined paint job the cause. I first mixed graphite powder and flat black paint, then polished for a “funky” effect. Good effect, but not uniform. Had to buy a 2nd kit and redo. The knees were a pain. Had to make a new voice tube piece with new ribs because the kit one was clear and didn’t look great. After much heartache on the whole project, I threw his head together. I made 3-D gyros out of plastic rings, but it’s just not clear even from DVD freezes if the gyros were solid or ringed.

The 2nd time around I built new shoulders for a spread/droop arm effect, and used plain old gunmetal.
