My mate Paul has been working on a Capt Cardboard Space Pod for six years (18 months research, breaks and house moving!). A few years into the project I thought a Dave figure would be appropriate. He felt bad for me not having a pod, so a Dave was appropriate...

The Dave figure is a typical, well-made Capt Cardboard piece, so I originally thought I’d just clean and paint it. I needed a simple diorama to give me something to do.
